Councils and Committees of the Society
The Society is governed by a Council elected according to its
. It is the effective management group
of the Society with specific activities and collections managed by
Committees made up of members who are interested in those particular
aspects of the Society.
The committees look after the following areas:

Research and Awards
Positions on the Council and Committees are open to any member and a
Council Nomination Form
The Society relies heavily on its volunteers to keep it an active and
viable organisation. Any member who has time or skills to contribute
is most welcome and greatly appreciated. To establish a clear basis
for using volunteers the Council has created two documents which describe the
responsibilities of both parties.
