Thinking of volunteering?

The Royal Geographical Society of South Australia (Inc.) is a voluntary, not-for profit organisation for advancing geographical science and promoting public interest in, and awareness and enjoyment of, Geography and related topics. Membership of the RGSSA is by subscription and is open to anyone who supports its objectives. The Society takes a special interest in the geography of South Australia and its immediate region. Our field of interest and our lecture programme extends very much to the global scale. The Society is always interested in welcoming new members as volunteers. The Society is governed by a Council elected according to its Rules .

There are a series of Committees responsible to the Council (Publications, Library, Geographical Heritage, Awards, Programme and Information Technology). Many interested members of the Society serve on these Committees, which are not restricted to Councillors only.

Nomination Forms for Council are here!
